Instructions to Assessor:

All students must have observations/demonstrations completed for this unit of competency. The student must show evidence of the ability to complete tasks outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit, manage tasks and manage contingencies in the context of the job role.

Completing the Workplace Observation Record

The workplace observation record must be completed in full. Students are required to provide de-identified information on the clients who they have supported and their needs.

Performance Evidence

Evidence of the ability to complete tasks outlined in elements and performance criteria of this unit in the context of the job role, and:

identify indicators of falls risk for at least two people, including at least one physical risk and one environmental risk

report each of the above falls risks according to organisational policies and procedures, maintaining the privacy and dignity of the person.
